Playa Fañabé is a delightful light sandy beach with fabulous recreational activities. It attracts visitors all year round, being one of the most active beaches in Tenerife. It has little waves and calm waters, which is why it is suitable for the whole family.

It is located in an urban area, the promenade offers pleasant walks with beautiful views, where you can also enjoy delicious food in any of its bars and restaurants, and buy everything you need in different shops along the promenade.

This beach has everything you need for a great day out with friends and family. Leave the stress behind and take a stroll, you’ll find sun, sand and relaxing crystal clear waters.

Location

Municipality: Adeje

It is located in Costa Adeje, in the south of the island of Tenerife.

It is next to Playa de Torviscas, which you can walk to because they are part of the same beach. For many tourists, these two represent the best beach area in Tenerife South.

You can access by car and on foot along the promenade. There is a parking area but you can always find an empty space in a nearby street.

One of the intercity public transport lines passes close by.

Blue Flag

Playa Fañabe has been awarded the Blue Flag, which means that it offers safe waters with sanitary quality for diving and quality beach services.

Sand

It has a type of volcanic sand, very fine. If you move along the beach you will notice that the colour of the sand varies from golden to greyish tones.

It is also considered a paradise because it always offers good weather, all year round it offers an ideal climate, warm during the day and mild at night.

Children’s beach

As we have already mentioned, it has many features that make it ideal for children.

The breakwater blocks the waves, so the swell is not strong. Likewise, the wind is very calm because it is located in the southwest of Tenerife, the least windy area of the island.
